LBWF Violence Against Women and Girls Court Coordinator (9-month post - subject to extension)
Waltham Forest Council and its key partners have identified tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) as one of the key, cross cutting strategic priorities for the Borough. The Council is therefore looking for an experienced, motivated and dedicated individual to lead and manage the borough’s Specialist Domestic Abuse Court Programme.
This role presents the chance to support a growing area of business within Waltham Forest that will ensure victim/ survivors of Domestic Abuse are supported throughout the court process. You will be working through a holistic ‘whole family approach’, liaising directly with families and statuatory/ community partners to develop effective strategies around safeguarding and risk management.
You will have experience supporting survivors of VAWG in a voluntary or paid role. You will fully understand what VAWG is and what legislative framework sits around these areas.
