About the role
The Early Help KeyWork Service provides a range of youth work opportunities for a wide range of young people with varying needs across East Sussex.
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Youth Worker based in the west of the county.
This is a unique opportunity to manage an area based youth work team delivering a wide range of targeted activities in the Lewes & Wealden area including centre based, small group work, sexual health drop-ins, detached and mobile sessions, LGBTQ, youth music and disability groups and support the delivery of the introduction to youth work and the induction of staff.
The successful candidate will have a recognised L4 Youth Work Qualification or working towards qualifying this summer and experience working in a range of youth work settings plus experience in the supervision of part time sessional youth workers or volunteers.
You will be joining a supportive Team of Area Youth Workers managing a range of provisions across the county. Flexible working is essential as evening and week end work is required.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
