About the role
An opportunity has arisen to join the Early Years Improvement Team/Standards and Learning Effectiveness Service as an Early Years Support and Intervention Officer.
As part of our friendly and enthusiastic team of advisors you will provide advice and guidance to early years settings across East Sussex. We are looking for a self-motivated person to work as part of a team but also capable of managing their own workload. You will have managed or been in a senior position within a childcare setting rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, in the last two years.
A good understanding of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and knowledge of East Sussex safeguarding procedures is essential. Experience of multi-agency working and the ability to communicate at all levels is desirable. You will need to be able to meet the travel requirements associated with the role.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
