Are you an experienced safeguarding professional with a passion for improving outcomes for adult and children?
We are looking for a dynamic, committed, and experienced manager with extensive safeguarding knowledge to lead the effective implementation of the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements across adults and children in the Royal Borough. You will also support the council to deliver its ambitious programme of transformation by providing the strategic Principal Social Worker function for adult social care.
To meet the requirements of this high profile and challenging post, you will have a recognised social work qualification and an advanced professional CPD qualification, as well as a proven track record of successful management in a local government social care or related service.
Experience of working in both adults and children services would be useful, but not essential as well as experience of the practical implementation of quality assurance frameworks.
We are looking for someone who is an adept and influential communicator who has experience of successfully engaging with people, staff, stakeholders and politicians. You will be experienced in managing a diverse workload and managing a range of different projects.
Experience of implementing statutory requirements, policy process and best practice is vital.
