The Commissioning Support Team is seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who will support the commissioning and quality assurance of social care provision across children’s and adults social care. The successful post holders will be specifically supporting the commissioning of children’s placements, support packages and quality assurance of children’s provision and so experience of children’s social care processes and market would be beneficial.
The Team sits within the Strategic Support Service area and works closely with Commissioners and Practitioners working in social care and health. An understanding of commissioning, social care and quality assurance processes, procurement and the legal frameworks supporting social care commissioning would be useful alongside a desire to achieve positive outcomes for people who are supported in our communities.

In addition to the above, you will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work to deadlines on your own and as part of a team.
Currently the Commissioning Support Team are working predominantly from home, however as part of the role we anticipate some requirement to be office based alongside travel to and from commissioned social care provision to support quality assurance visits.
