About the role
At Harlands we learn, we achieve, we have fun… everyone matters.
We are seeking to recruit an After School Club Co-ordinator to join our staff team from September 2021.
At the club we will offer our pupils an exciting range of activities which build independence, encourage creativity and provide challenge. The club will be a secure environment where the children can enjoy each other’s company, embrace new experiences and have fun!
The working pattern will be five afternoons each week, from 2.45 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. term time only.
This is a new venture and the post will be for a fixed term to July 2023 in the first instance; to be kept under regular review.
The Co-ordinator will be responsible for the day to day organisation of the club and for leading the club’s staff team. The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the varying needs of children aged from 3 to 11 years. Previous experience of delivering high quality wrap around care will be considered an advantage.
At Harlands we believe that every child is unique and learns best when they are feeling safe, secure and happy. We provide children with a range of opportunities to ensure they are all able to achieve to their fullest potential. Our children are inspired to learn about the amazing world around them, encouraged to develop a love of learning and given confidence to embrace new challenges. We support all of our children to become happy, independent, expressive, enthusiastic, sociable and creative individuals, instilling values that prepare them to become responsible citizens in society. We take great pleasure in the fact that our pupils are, without a doubt, a credit to the school.
Harlands is a very special place to work and we pride ourselves on the strength, enthusiasm and dedication of our staff. We look forward to welcoming a new member to our staff team and we actively encourage visits to enable potential applicants to experience our school first hand.
Interviews will take place during the week beginning 21 June 2021.
