Two temporary posts have arisen to join the Family Matters Service as a member of Targeted Family Support. These will cover periods of maternity leave. Targeted Family Support is a well establish team which provides high quality interventions to children and families on the Wirral. The successful candidate must be able to work across the Wirral and with children 0-19yrs, using a whole family approach.
The successful candidate must have a passion for working with children and families, can work flexibly and can deliver high quality innovative interventions that support our children and families here in the Wirral. You will need to be able to work as part of a cohesive team and independently using your own initiative. You will need to be fluent in IT skills and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You must have experience of working with complex and hard to reach families and have the ability to engage with them. You must have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field, i.e. social care, childcare, health, working with families etc.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.
