About the role
Adoption South East is a Regional Adoption Agency that brings together four successful Local Authority Adoption Services in a partnership, to provide the full range of adoption services across East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and Surrey and went live in April 2020.
We are looking to recruit 3 full time social workers for the adoption team based in Eastbourne. Your base would be at St Marks House in Eastbourne but flexible and virtual working is inherent to our productivity across the region.
You will have a key role in contributing to creative adopter recruitment activity; currently proving highly successful, as well as creative family finding and linking across the South East. You will hold a mixed caseload of adopter assessments together with family finding and adoption support responsibilities.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
