The Integrated Contact and Referral Team (ICART) is a busy 'front door' service screening referral's from professionals and members of the public. ICART is a multi-disciplinary team which comprises of Social workers, Early Help Workers, Health, EWO and Police.
We are looking for an experienced social worker to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work in a busy environment screening referrals that may require social care intervention at Level 3, S.17 and S.47 of the relevant legislation. You will be providing members of the public with advice and guidance on child welfare concerns and providing professionals with clear guidance and support. Ideally, you will have Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub experience. You will also be attending step up meetings and completing court letters on closed cases. IT skills are essential as you will recording notes on Halton’s Eclipse system.
To apply for this role you must be a qualified social worker, be registered with Social work England.
