Hours per week: 37 (including flexibility in working occasional evenings or weekends. Time off in lieu will be given on such occasions)

An exciting varied role has arisen for an Apprentice to join Oxford City Council’s Tenant Involvement Housing team.
The Apprentice will play an important part of the accredited and customer facing Tenant Involvement team and will develop and learn new skills to recruit Tenant and Leaseholder volunteers, known as Ambassadors to monitor and scrutinise the services provided by the Council as a landlord.
Producing a quarterly tenant magazine, delivering training programmes, and producing satisfaction surveys, consultation exercises and events are some of the other critical parts of the Tenant Involvement team and Apprenticeship.
The Apprentice will complete the Chartered Institute of Housing Professional qualifications as well as be supported to develop varied skills and abilities and be given opportunities to attend external housing courses and webinars as well as in-house training.
Working with a variety of both internal and external services across the Council the apprentice will gain a real understanding of how all these areas operate so will need to show flexibility in regards to their working hours, for the occasional evening or weekend meeting or event.
