A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fostering Service working as a Senior Practitioner within the Family and Friends Assessment Teams. We are looking for an experienced professional who has ambition that matches ours, to join us at this exciting moment, to be part of the Trust’s journey and help take us to the next level.
We are committed to keeping children within their family networks when it is no longer possible to live with their birth parents. To achieve this, we are looking for highly skilled senior practitioner with exceptional assessment skills, to come and join our us to ensure that our children receive the highest quality family based care with extended family.
Are you passionate about making a difference, committed to children achieving good outcomes whilst living with their extended family or friends with an energetic can-do will do approach then this may be the role for you?
We are looking for an experienced senior social worker with strong assessment, analytical and written skills who can produce a range of complex robust court ready assessments and oversee and quality assure the work of others. You will be confident in regularly presenting reports to both court and fostering panels.
You will have a high level of interpersonal relationship-based skills, with an ability to work effectively with colleagues, partners, children and foster carers, whilst providing appropriate measures to ensure that the child always remains and the centre of our planning and practice.
Committed to working flexibly with others, you have collaborated effectively with other teams, statutory and voluntary agencies. You have a demonstrable understanding of key legislation, which equips you to analyse and intervene effectively in situations that are increasingly complex and challenging.
You will be part of a very supportive, dynamic, expanding team, contributing to our service and the wider Trust commitment on our improvement journey to ‘Good’.
