A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fostering Service working as a Senior Practitioner within the Connected Persons and SGO Support Team. To achieve this, we are looking for highly skilled senior practitioner with exceptional assessment skills, to come and join our us to ensure that our children receive the highest quality family based care with extended family.

We are looking for an experienced senior practitioner with strong analytical and written skills, who are skilled in completing timely concise robust court ready Connected Persons and SGO assessments specifically and oversee and quality assure the work of others. You will be confident in presenting reports to both court and fostering panels.
You will have a high level of interpersonal relationship-based skills, with an ability to work effectively with colleagues, partners, children and foster carers, whilst providing appropriate measures to ensure that the child always remains and the centre of our planning and practice.
Within this role you will be supervising Social Workers with mixed experience levels, lead on ensuring best practice, learning and research is part of the learning team culture and deputise for the Team Manager.
