We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to support the work of two Assistant Directors. This post holder will provide an efficient administration support service so that senior staff are able to maximise their time and manage their work plan effectively.
About the role
Join us at Brighton and Hove City Council in this new role which provides administrative and project support for two assistant directors. The post holder will make an important contribution to the success of two busy teams. As the main contact point for two assistant directors, the successful candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Duties include tracking correspondence through multiple communication channels, preparing written material on behalf of senior staff and actively managing several diaries and email inboxes. The ability to use standard software programmes to an advanced level will be essential.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious administrator who can operate effectively with a varied workload and can manage complex systems in a large organisation, following financial processes carefully. The successful candidate will enjoy working with the public and have a calm manner when handling a wide variety of situations.
