Each post is for 10 hours per week, 1.00pm - 3:00pm (tbc), Monday – Friday.
Salary: TA2/TA3 Single Status Pay Scale: Grade 3/4. Salary Range: £18,562 - £19,312 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 year’s continuous service)
Fixed term until Easter 2022

Require 2 x Part-Time Temporary Teaching Assistants
Pevensey and Westham is a thriving primary school committed to providing an excellent education for all pupils in our care. We are looking to recruit 2 Teaching Assistants. You will be required to undertake interventions with a group of children. If you are qualified and experienced at TA3 you may be required to cover the class. You will have a track record of supporting and enhancing the education and wellbeing of children, ideally you will have a strength in maths or English and will have a good understanding of expectations at the end of the relevant Key Stage.
This is a temporary position until the end of the academic year. The post could attract a TA3 salary depending on qualification, experience and specialism.
The role is intended to be flexible and may involve supporting individuals, small groups and some whole class support. The applicant will need to be adaptable, able to show initiative and have the confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
