Benefits Control and Liaison Officer

Scale 6 (scp 18-22) £24,982 to £27,041 per annum
37 Hours Per Week
We are looking to appoint a Benefits Control and Liaison Officer in our busy Benefits section which deals with Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
You will be expected to undertake pro-active interventions to ensure accuracy on claims, deal with National Fraud Initiative, Housing Benefit Matching Service, Real Time Information referrals, and liaise with DWP Single Fraud Investigation Service, Universal Credit and the Housing Benefit Review Team.
• Do you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of assessing Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims?
• Are you confident in dealing with external organisations and partnerships?
• Are you committed to providing a high quality service and continuous service improvement?
