Job Title: Project Officer - Provider Review Programme
Location: Farnham House, Stevenage - working Countywide
Salary Range: £35,745 pa progressing to £39,880 pa
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment until October 2022
We are recruiting for a fixed-term Project Officer within the Community Commissioning Adult Disabilities team to support us with our high-profile Provider Review Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity, within the ACS Commissioning Team for Adults with Disabilities, to contribute to a programme of work across the County Council and Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT). The Provider Review Programme brings together Providers, operational teams and commissioners to review and redesign existing Supported Living and Residential Care services. The aim is to deliver and embed Hertfordshire’s Connected Lives vision into commissioning practice and achieve significant financial savings at the same time.
The Programme has been established within Adult Disability Services over the past year and is expanding to review community mental health services, focusing on restructuring commissioning arrangements, whilst also working to ensure service models are modern, fit for purpose, and are sustainable for Citizens, Commissioners and Providers.
This role will involve development of relationships and analysis of service models to inform negotiations with Providers while also working alongside social work teams and operational managers, people who access services and family carers to meet people’s needs and outcomes. You will be supporting the commissioning of services in line with the wider mental health transformation and strategic commissioning mechanisms across the Council and HPFT.
Ideally with a background in commissioning, or working closely with Provider organisations, you will be able to demonstrate; the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholder collaboratively across several different agencies, and a clear understanding of business practice and pricing to enable practical changes and the impact they will have on provider businesses.
