The post demands an individual who is able to work to a shift pattern, work as part of a team and also individually, enjoys engaging with the community, is positive about change and adapts rapidly to different ways of working.
The post holder will provide a proactive response to emerging crime trends and anti-social behaviour in local shopping centres in Harlow. The post holder will work within the community and with partners to reduce crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour by problem solving using education, enforcement or both. The post holder will be required to assist in the implementation, review and enforcement of orders, such as Public Space Protection Orders, issued to combat persistent anti-social behaviour.
Applicants must hold a full driving licence (or have other suitable means of transport) and be able to patrol local areas. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
