An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced qualified HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to be seconded into the Private Housing Team based at Wealden District Council.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and motivated and have an interest in developing their skills within housing adaptations. You will be supported by the Housing Team to develop your skills through supervision and training.

A good working knowledge of legislation and policy surrounding disability, housing, and building adaptation funding is required.
The post is for 25 hours a week, you will be working alongside a full-time Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist who will provide your clinical supervision as well as various other members of the Private Housing Team including Environmental Health Officers, Housing Solutions Workers, Grants officers and the wider housing options team.
