About the role
i-Rock are looking to appoint 3 new project workers to work across all 3 I rock sites (Hastings, Eastbourne and Newhaven).
Tasks include providing both face to face and on-line support to young people who are experiencing a range of mental health and emotional well being issues which may impact on any aspect of their lives. Workers will engage with the young people to try and find out what service might provide the best type of support for them if they need on-going intervention and then support them into accessing that service.
Workers will take part in the design and production and presentation of i-Rock on-line work on Instagram and Facebook including our Instagram Live sessions.
Contracts are for 1 year initially and you will be required to work across all 3 sites.
This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). For further information about what is required in this process please go to http://www.gov.uk/disclosure-barring-service-check. Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
