About the role
East Sussex leaders set exceptionally high standards for services that support children who need help, protection or care.” Ofsted
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly-motivated Senior Early Help Keyworker to bring their family support skills to East Sussex’s Early Help Service for families (0-19). East Sussex is now seeking a talented Senior Early Help Keyworker in Lewes and Havens.
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, we are ambitious on behalf of the young people and families we work with and believe every role we recruit is a part of this success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a cluster of Early Help Keyworkers as well as holding a Keywork caseload. Responsibilities include risk and safeguarding analysis, carrying out supervisions, completing family assessments and developing holistic Early Help Plans that identify clear, measurable targets alongside packages of support.
You will need to have a recognised Level 4 professional qualification and be able to demonstrate competency in English, Maths and ICT as well as being able to show that you have a deep understanding of working with vulnerable families.
Crucially, you’ll need to be prepared to work effectively with keyworkers and families in a number of potential areas (including education, mental health, domestic violence, Youth Offending, income inequality).
In return, we offer competitive pay, great opportunities for professional development, and the chance to be part of an outstanding organisation that is committed to bringing about change in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Our Early Help practice is high impact. We know we are making a difference because that’s what children and young people tell us.
So, if you’d like to be part of our progressive team, apply NOW.
