We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused individual to assist with the day to day processes of the Allocations Team.

 

You will be part of the team that is the first point of contact for applicants at the start of their journey to obtaining their new home. You must have experience of frontline customer service – face to face interviews, telephone contact and letter writing. Experience of routine office administration systems is also essential.

 

In this fast pace environment, you will be assessing the applications and guiding the applicants through the process by giving advice and support. You will be undertaking pre-tenancy support to applicants who may need further information on running a home and the costs involved. The successful candidate will deal with day to day enquiries and assist the Lettings Officers.

 

You will be capable of effective communication with people at all levels both externally and within the organisation. You will have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages in your day to day work. A knowledge of Northgate systems would also be advantageous.

 

You must be able to organise your own work and be willing to undertake all relevant training. The successful candidate must have GCSE’s in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above or equivalent vocational or academic experience.
