There are two permanent, full time vacancies in our Revenues Team.
The successful applicants will conduct visits and inspections to ensure that liable persons are identified and that appropriate discounts/exemptions are considered for Council Tax and Business Rates.
In addition, the successful applicants will identify potential vulnerability, negotiate suitable payment arrangements with customers and assist them in signposting to debt advice/benefits where appropriate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as are IT and operational skills in the use of Windows based office packages and other technology. The post requires the ability to demonstrate a collaborative style and a strong commitment to team working. A flexible approach is necessary.
The successful applicants must have a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle to conduct visits. A mileage allowance will be paid for all visits conducted.
