We are looking for an enthusiastic Programme Lead for commissioning to join our expert team that commission a wide range of children’s and adult services, on behalf of Medway residents. The Children’s Services Partnership Commissioning team (who are part of Public Health) are a forward thinking and experienced service that coordinate a wide portfolio of projects for Medway Council and Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of Service by proactively responding to day-to-day service requests, driving forward a number of agenda’s including Learning Disabilities and Autism and transitions, working collaboratively with partners to improve outcomes and processes, assist in the collation of reporting requirements, coordinating strategic clinical group meetings and any other day to day activity as and when directed.
This may include undertaking practice research, strategy and pathway development, assessment of need and demand data and financial analysis and arranging/coordinating patient/service user and provider engagement activity where required.
This exciting opportunity will give the successful applicant the opportunity to contribute extensively to the commissioning service delivery. They will gain knowledge and experience from highly skilled team members but will also be given the opportunity to showcase their own skills and competencies in project management. They will be expected to work in partnership with providers, other agencies and strategic networks.
