About the role
The Headteacher and Governing Board are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant 2 (TA2) with an MDSA contract to be part of our committed team. We are a popular, school which is well respected in the local community. The post will be fixed term in the first instance until July 2022. A TA3 post will be considered subject to experience. The TA2 role is for 26.25 hours per week and MDSA role is for 6.25 hours. The roles are part time and term time only, salaries will therefore be pro rata.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, ideally hold a relevant qualification or be working towards one, have experience of working with children, be sensitive towards the needs of the children and their families and will ideally hold a valid first aid qualification. The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory completion of all pre-employment requirements.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- are enthusiastic and highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
- are an effective team member with a good sense of humour
- have an uncompromising passion to secure academic and emotional progress for every child
