About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner and a Caretaker 4 to join our wonderful school community here at Icklesham CEP School. Please see separate advert for the Caretaker 4 role. There is flexibility to combine both roles should this be suitable.
The cleaner role is fixed term in the first instance and the hours are 10 hours per week - Single Status Grade 2. There is some room for negotiation regarding hours and times worked.
The successful candidate will be a committed, reliable, adaptable person who is friendly and can work well with staff and children. They will have the ability to undertake cleaning as per a schedule and join us in taking care of and pride in our school.
Hours of work - Cleaning hours are two hours per day. The exact hours and working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Some flexibility will be required to cover holiday opening and occasional evening and weekend events. We can offer a friendly, hardworking and supportive school team and welcoming school community as well as training, support and development opportunities.
