About the role
St Mary’s School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic therapist with demonstrable interest in, or experience of, working with complex speech, language and communication needs.
St Mary’s school is a non-maintained SEN school that meets the needs of a wide range of pupils who have SEND. Our pupils are a delight to work with and we have a highly positive staff team.
You will be member of a multidisciplinary staff team, responsible for assessing, planning and delivering individualised intervention programmes for a defined caseload. You will work with children individually or in small groups within classroom-based sessions and specialist therapy spaces to enable pupils to access the curriculum and promote meaningful engagement in school based tasks. You may also be responsible for line management for Salt assistants, and the delivery of staff training.
HCPC and RCSLT registration is essential. Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable. NQP therapists are welcome to apply.
Term time only working, full and part time considered
Salary range: £26,867 to £37,581; (pro rata for term-time only) Salary dependant on skills and experience
