About the role
MASH/Through Care Case worker – MASH West based at County Hall, Lewes
A case worker position in one of the MASH teams has become available, covering the west area of the county working with MASH and Through Care. The successful post holder will join a team with responsibility for screening referrals so that the right services can reach the right children and young people in a timely way. The case worker role involves completing Returning Home Interviews with young people who have experienced periods of difficulty in a timely way, screening tasks as well as travelling across the west of the county to carry out interviews. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in safeguarding local children and young people. High quality supervision and training will be provided to equip the right person to do the job.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
