About the role
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our friendly team.
The post is based at Milton Grange in Eastbourne, primarily supporting our 10 mental health beds and community outreach team, however there would be an expectation to support across the whole of Directly provided services when required.
Milton grange is a flexible and responsive service, so we are seeking someone that can adapt and respond to the ever-changing needs of the service.
Milton Grange is an intermediate care unit and our role is to prevent hospital admissions and support safe and timely discharges. We are a short-term service focusing on reablement and our average length of stay is around 28 days. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team carrying out a range of assessments, liaising with other professionals, supporting staff in managing complex clients and providing training, advice and guidance.
Milton Grange is a 24-hour service, but the working hours of the post would be weekdays between 9-5.
There is an expectation for staff to work with clients that have infectious diseases including Covid 19, with appropriate PPE provided.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
