We are seeking to recruit an experienced Fostering Assessment Social Worker who will be able to work within the safer recruitment and legislative requirements.
We are looking for a dynamic Social worker to join the Birmingham Children’s Trust Fostering Agency. You will be based within Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team. We need a Social worker who has enthusiasm in contributing to the recruitment and working with prospective Foster Carer’s at all stages of the recruitment and assessment process. You will require skills and knowledge in respect of assessments and report writing and be able to work within timescales to meet statutory and fostering agency timescales in completing assessments. The role will be primarily completing initial Assessments and home visits of new applicants, deliver Skills to Foster training programme and complete robust, fact based and analytical Form F assessments, in addition to presenting to panel for consideration of approval.
For this role you would need to be a professionally qualified social worker, registered with SW England who have demonstrable post qualification experience of working with children and young people, safeguarding, assessments and fostering.
