About the Post:
Regulatory Services at Barnsley protect the health, safety and well-being of those who live, work in and visit the borough, enabling local businesses to comply with their regulatory responsibilities. That’s where you come in, as a Field Officer in the covid team. You will primarily be involved in responding, providing advice and support to businesses, and investigating workplace outbreaks.

Your role in our journey
As a RSFO in the Covid Team, you’ll be at the forefront of our response to the pandemic. You’ll have a you’ll have good communication skills, the ability to work with people, and professional approach.
What you’ll need
To join us, you’ll need a minimum of a level 3 qualification. A recognised qualification relevant to the work of the team, will unlock higher level positions dependent on your relevant professional experience. Even for beginners, some knowledge of regulatory services and covid work is essential. Whatever level you join us at, you will also bring to the role a commitment to work flexibly, and an appetite for engaging in continuous training and professional development in this rewarding field of work.
