About the Post:
Supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Barnsley Council’s Enterprising Barnsley Team are looking to recruit an experienced business Key Account Manager. The primary focus of the post is to support indigenous business growth and contribute to the objectives and targets of the ‘Business Productivity’ programme by establishing relationships with key businesses in Barnsley whilst developing a detailed understanding of their corporate strategies and growth aspirations.
The post will work closely with the wider Sheffield City Region business support providers and other partners to provide a proactive, customer focused lead point of contact for businesses with growth potential that are strategically important to Barnsley and the regional economy, through providing advice and guidance on a range of business opportunities including business productivity improvements, funding assistance, workforce development, R&D support and supply chain linkages.

The Business Productivity project is receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
