About the role
Teaching Assistant 2 - St Leonard's CE Primary Academy
We have vacancies available for a Teaching Assistant (qualified or training towards a supporting teaching and learning qualification) to join our key stage 2 in our popular, inclusive Church academy.
The successful candidate will be joining a strong team supporting learning. You should be a passionate individual who is motivated to work both within the classroom and independently (1:1 and with small groups) to allow our pupils to fulfil their potential and flourish. You should also be committed to our inclusive and nurturing ethos and support this actively. In return we can offer you strong training opportunities working within a friendly and supportive learning environment. We are particularly proud of our outside learning and enrichment activities.
You will also be expected to provide supervision of pupils over the lunchtime period both inside and outside.
The position is for 30 hours per week, term time only, Monday - Friday, 8.45a.m. - 3.15p.m. You will be paid on the Single Status pay scale (Grade 3 £18,562 pro rata, per annum).
Actual pay: £13,313 per annum
