About the role
We are looking to recruit a part-time teacher to a new post for our school, this post requires an individual who is dedicated to developing children's understanding of the wonderful world that they live in. Grovelands is passionate about outdoor learning and play, and the positive effect it has on children. We want to develop our site and our provision so that all the children can spend more time learning outdoors in the natural world. To join our team, you will need to share this passion and be committed to working hard to ensure that the children have the best experience possible every day they are with us.
This post is part-time and will oversee the development of the provision for outdoor learning for all children who attend the school. The person appointed will also be part of our Science team and liaise closely with our forest school practitioners.
The successful candidate should be prepared to work hard, be a positive and productive member of the staff team and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life and the changes that are being implemented within the school. We expect the most from our pupils so a candidate that has high expectations; has evidence of quality practice; will make learning fun and has a genuine belief that all children have the potential for success would be ideally suited to this post.
