We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in delivering complex maintenance provision across a diverse and challenging fleet whilst maintaining the highest possible standards of health and safety.
Someone who has shown the ability to effect change and engage with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within an agreed resource envelope.
Leading and developing a team of technicians to provide the best “£ for £” local authority maintenance function possible and support our Zero 40 Zero Carbon strategy by transitioning the Fleet towards EV.
Using your extensive experience as a workshop leader and of operating electronic fleet management systems you will use management information to help inform decisions and set priorities in what can be a highly challenging environment with conflicting demands.
You will also be expected to offer help and guidance to peers and new recruits, helping to promote the council values and beliefs.
