This is an exciting time to join our Assessment Team as an experienced Team Manager and be part of our improvement journey in Children’s Services.
You will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching a team of 6 social workers and a family support worker responsible for delivering and improving services for vulnerable children, young people and their families. You will report to a Group Manager and work closely with other Team Managers across the service.
As a registered social worker with SWE you will have a minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience working with children and families in the statutory sector. You will also be able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and experience and ideally have experience of working with ‘Signs of Safety’ or a similar relationship and strengths-based practice framework.
You will be motivated, committed and passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families. You will be able to build effective relationships, demonstrate strong assessment and analysis skills and work effectively as part of a team.
In return for your commitment, we are proud to offer an excellent benefits package including a market premia payment of £4000 per annum (paid in 12 equal payments) and a retention payment of £3000 per annum (paid after 1 years’ continuous service with Medway).
