Occupational Therapy Team
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist who is looking to take the next step in their career to join the Hackney Occupational Therapy Team. The Occupational Therapy Service supports people across London Borough of Hackney to live as safely and independently in the community.
You will be required to carry out assessments with a strengths based approach to identify needs and make recommendations for a range of outcomes. These could include specialist advice and information, referrals to community navigation services, keeping people safe, planning for moving and handling support, equipment provision and recommending adaptations.

A commitment to working in an integrated manner with health colleagues is also essential in a Neighbourhood Model, as well as an understanding of the value of working with the wider multidisciplinary team such as the Police, Housing, Education and Children’s services.
The post offers the opportunity for you to supervise junior staff and students as well as advance your own ongoing Continual Professional Development.
