Schools Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Adviser
Are you highly motivated to raise the profile of Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing (MHEW) in schools and colleges? Are you an experienced professional with a background in MHEW and a desire to improve outcomes for children and young people with MHEW needs?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our developing team of Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Advisers. This role, in the Inclusion Special Educational Needs and Disability (ISEND) Service, will work alongside the other MHEW Adviser to support key staff across schools and colleges in undertaking their responsibilities for supporting universal emotional wellbeing needs as well as pupils with additional needs in this area. A key focus will be in broadening capacity in local schools and colleges through staff development and sharing of best practice.
This role, while countywide, could be based in one of our offices in Hastings, Eastbourne or Lewes. If you believe you have the interpersonal skills, knowledge and ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, in order to support schools and colleges and all of those who work in them across East Sussex, we want to hear from you.
