The hours of work are 10.35am to 3.10pm, Monday to Friday with a short paid break for lunch; equating to 22 hours and 55 minutes per week. We need someone to start from Tuesday 4th May 2021.

It is a TA2 position paid at Single Status grade 3. The position is to support a mixed age class. The successful candidate will need to be fully supportive of the inclusive ethos of our Church of England Primary School and should share our belief that diversity is a strength, to be respected and celebrated.
To fit in with our small committed team, you will need to have a positive, upbeat, can-do approach. We value staff who can pre-empt problems and suggest workable solutions; staff who commit fully to the school and strive to ensure that all children are happy, safe and fulfilling their full potential.
You will need to demonstrate that you are able to work within the DfE’s Professional Standards for Teaching Assistants (June 2016). In addition to this, you need to be able to:
- Be professional in your approach and work collaboratively with the class teacher and other team members;
- Be computer literate;
- Inspire children to achieve and make a positive impact on their learning in groups and 1:1;
- Be energetic, positive, understanding and creative;
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils;
- Support the Christian ethos and values of the school;
- Be hard-working and flexible in your approach.
Previous experience of working in a school environment and good GCSE grades in Maths and English are essential for this role.
We will offer:
- Happy, well-behaved children with positive attitudes to learning and school;
- A hard-working and friendly staff team with a shared desire to be the best they can be;
- Support for your professional development;
- An opportunity to be part of our school that wants every child to achieve their dreams.
We highly recommend a visit to the school, so that you can experience first-hand our fabulous children, unique learning environment and dedicated team. This is also an opportunity to discuss the post in more detail and ask any questions. Contact Claire in the school office on (01825) 762336 to make an appointment to view the school.
