About the role
Wallands is a two-form entry primary school, in Lewes, only a short train ride from Eastbourne and Brighton. We are in a beautiful part of East Sussex, set in wonderful grounds and situated on the edge of the South Downs National Park. We have supportive, caring and dedicated staff and governing body and fabulous children.

The candidate must be committed to creating a learning culture with high expectations and achievement at its core. They must be able to successfully develop a subject area whilst inspiring and enabling the pupils/people around them, to ensure that pupils achieve the best possible outcomes.

We are looking for someone who is:
•A highly capable classroom practitioner.
•Able to motivate and inspire children and has high expectations of what can be achieved
•Keen to develop professionally
•Both creative and flexible
•Able to work successfully as a team member establishing effective working relationships and flexible working practices
