Hours of work: 17 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time and Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 year’s continuous service)

About the role
Manor Primary School is a large two form entry school in Uckfield. We have a fantastic group of children who come to our school, a large and welcoming staff team and a supportive wider school community. We are looking for two Teaching Assistants to join us. One will be based in Year 3 and one in Year 5. Teaching Assistants at Manor are an integral part of the teaching team in each year group. We are looking for people who really enjoy working with children and as part of a team. The successful candidates will be people who are able to take direction from the class teacher, be keen to learn, proactive and able to use their own intiative. They will be committed to developing positive relationships with children and colleagues. Throughout the day, you will support the whole class, lead interventions working with smaller groups or individuals, as well as preparing resources. You should have good literacy and maths skills. Above all you will be patient, kind and really care about making a contribution to the school life of our pupils.
The hours will be close to 17 hours per week from Monday to Thursday. Working patterns to be discussed at interview.
