We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to support our small Empty Property Team who are responsible for managing the voids and lettings process for approximately 5,100 Council properties and 2,000 garages.
You will be required to undertake visits to all tenants across the district in order to deal with the requirement for terminating a tenancy. You will also be responsible for undertaking viewings to all empty properties, including completing the sign up process once the property is ready to let. It is therefore important to you work closely with the Council’s void contractor to ensure empty properties are turned around in accordance with the Council’s minimum void standard.
The post holder will need to be well organised, flexible, with a positive and target driven attitude. Accurate record keeping and performance monitoring are critical to the role as there are some demanding performance targets for dealing with the re-let of Council properties and garages.
For all new Council tenants, quite often the Empty Property Team provide the first face-to-face contact and it is extremely important that a high quality customer service is provided at all times.
This post is for 37 hours per week, based at the City Offices in Winchester city centre, but working across the Winchester District. The post will be subject to a DBS check.
