Interview date: 21 April 2021

At Hammersmith & Fulham, we are ambitious in reforming the council to ensure this is a place for everybody. Within the Finance & Governance department, our ambition is to be 'ruthlessly financially efficient' in everything that we do, to ensure that our residents and services are receiving the best value for money whilst challenging old-fashioned thinking, unfairness and removing waste where possible.

We have launched our programme to offer all council services to residents and local businesses via the H&F (Granicus GovService) My Account Portal. We are seeking an excellent Integration Specialist with experience of the Granicus / Firmstep platform. This is a technical role and a key focus will be working with third party APIs to present systems to our Granicus Forms developers. There will be a degree of business mapping and forms development and XML and SQL are essential. Experience with Java Script and XSL Stylesheets is desirable. This is a great opportunity to get in at the start of a major transformational change at H&F and within a growing Integration Service.

Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision. If you’re looking to develop your career in a fast-paced, professional environment whilst making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate the user needs, their characteristics and tasks, and the technical, organisational and physical environment in which products or systems will operate.
  • Develop forms and workflow as required.
  • Contribute to the support of existing forms and integrations through responding to queries and pro-active monitoring.
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensure they are applied effectively and that all work is documented using the appropriate standards, methods and tools.
  • Inspire creativity and flexibility in the management and application of ICT.
