We are looking to recruit to an exciting Planning Policy post within the Planning Policy and Conservation Team. You will be joining a small but busy team supporting the preparation of a new Local Plan and associated planning policy tasks. Now is a good time to join the authority with the draft Local Plan due to be published for consultation in the Autumn and plans for further regeneration of Camberley town centre.
This role provides the opportunity to gain further experience across all aspects of Planning Policy in a Borough that contains both urban and rural areas, including areas of Metropolitan Green Belt. We are therefore looking for you to be enthusiastic and proactive with a level of planning experience commensurate with the role. We will look to develop your existing skills through supporting other team members in a range of projects as well as having responsibility for your own work areas.
Benefits of working for Surrey Heath include a minimum of 24 days annual leave, a Local Government Pension Scheme, generous flexible and agile working arrangements (including up to 2 days flex a month), paid professional fees and free parking.
For an informal discussion please contact Jane Reeves, Planning Policy and Conservation Manager on 01276 707213.
Closing Date: 19th April at 10:00am
