The West of England Combined Authority has recently launched a range of projects to support the West of England’s recovery. We are now seeking a 12 month fixed term maternity cover Project Officer for our Workforce for the Future project. This is an £8m project funded by the European Social Fund, matched by the Combined Authority. It is a major plank in WECA’s current support for small and medium sized companies (SMEs) and is set up to provide advice, training and a wide range of other interventions to engage SMEs with skills provision.
We now seek a Project Officer for a 12 month fixed term maternity cover. You must have extensive project management experience gained by working on complex, multi-partner projects and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good working knowledge of European Social Fund rules and criteria would be beneficial but not essential. You will join a small, highly supportive team with an enabling and can-do approach.
