About the role
The governors of Willingdon Primary school are seeking to appoint an experienced Headteacher for September 2021. The school was rated ‘good’ by Ofsted at its last inspection in March 2016.
Based at the foot of the downs just outside Eastbourne we are a school that prides itself on its excellent reputation and school diversity. We believe in working together to achieve the best results.
Willingdon Primary School has 449 pupils currently on roll and benefits from a specialist Hearing Support Facility; a highly successful provision for deaf children. Willingdon is one of only two primary schools within East Sussex that have this provision. The Facility is part of the ISEND Sensory needs service. An independent nursery is also on site. We have a range of policies and procedures in place which promote safeguarding and safer working practice across the school.
