The recent launch of the Birmingham & Solihull Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC) pilot will provide you with an opportunity of experiencing the successes of an alternative family court for care proceedings.

Furthermore, the team is involved in a number of new projects which you will be encouraged to be a part of.

About you

The Solicitor/Barrister/FCILEx role is open to strong, confident candidates with experience in any litigious area of the law. It may be that you are newly qualified and looking to carve a career in care work, or you may be seeking a new direction following a career in criminal law or clinical negligence, for example. A full training and induction pack is offered, and we support all new members of the team continually to help you grow and develop into the role.

You will case manage public law care proceedings (including pre- proceedings). You will be keen to develop your advocacy skills.

There exists a genuine and real opportunity to progress within the team.

The role is currently home-based with a structured induction and daily support from the team and Senior Lawyer

  • A £3,000 incentive for all new joiners who start with three or more years post qualification legal experience;
