Place & Projects Officer (ADC1018)

£32,234 - £34,728 per annum

A great opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of the District of Ashfield in West Nottinghamshire. We are an ambitious District Authority based in Kirkby in Ashfield, in easy reach of Nottingham, Sheffield and Chesterfield.

The Place Team delivers a programme of town centre / public realm and green space improvements, working collaboratively across the authority and providing support to the planning team as well as delivering Green Flag Awards.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team at an exciting time, following the success of securing funding from the Future High Streets Fund and the submission of a Town Investment Plan to access up to £50m through the government’s Towns Fund.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Landscape Architect, Urban Designer or Project Manager passionate about place-making, with a proven track record in project delivery. Please see the job description and person specification for more information.

We promote flexible working with opportunities for learning and development and an attractive benefits package. If you would like to discuss the post, please contact Paul Crawford, Senior Regeneration Officer: p.crawford@ashfield.gov.uk
