Principal Auditor

Full time fixed term to 31.03.22

We are looking to recruit an outstanding individual to join our Internal Audit team as a temporary Principal Auditor until 31 March 2022.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a track record of delivering internal audits to a range of clients within the allocated timescales. The appointee will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be an innovative thinker who can provide practical solutions to our clients.  In addition, a high degree of ethical integrity and personal resilience is required in what is both a challenging and rewarding role.

The Internal Audit Team provides assurance on risk, governance and control systems to Sefton Council. The appointee will undertake a range of complex audits across the Council included in the Annual Audit Plan.
