Procurement Officer
The procurement team is based at the Council's Headquarters, Huyton Municipal Building in Huyton. The team provides a professional procurement service to internal commissioners and collaborates with other procurement officers from the Liverpool City Region
You will support the Procurement Manager to develop and maintain a co-ordinated approach towards procurement, contract management, seeking value for money, relationship and performance management of suppliers and offering advice on all areas of procurement and contract activity
Qualified to Chartered Institute Procurement and Supply or equivalent, and also have experience of working within a procurement environment which would include detailed knowledge and practical experience of public procurement legislation
There will be opportunity to progress within the role to Pay Band M after completing and providing detailed evidence of undertaking various enhanced procurement activities
