The Web Technical Manager will lead on developing and maintaining the technical aspects of Hackney Education’s websites, ensuring they are stable, optimised to enhance user experience and aligned in terms of the structure and branding.
They will be responsible to the Head of Sales & Marketing to:
Take direct responsibility for the delivery of technical project work related to the Hackney Education websites.
Analyse stakeholder and customer needs and proposes innovative technical solutions that balance existing capability and resource with cost effective use of new technologies.
Take responsibility for delivery of technical projects and joint projects with other teams and suppliers as appropriate.
Plan content architecture and user experience based on stakeholder feedback, web analytics and best design practices.
Participates in all phases of projects including, scope, design, development, testing and production for new traded services products.
Troubleshoot technical problems relating to site content and other website issues, communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding those problems and issues.
Work to project budgets and applies consideration to implement cost saving strategies wherever possible
